Spatial differences of carbon emissions in Hainan Province based on GWR model
In the context of deepening the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port, building a model of high-quality economic development and ecological environmental protection, and achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality, clarifying the spatial differences of carbon emissions in Hainan can help to implement precise policies and increase the controllability of policies.Based on the GWR model, this paper explores the spatial differences of carbon emissions in Hainan Province from the economic perspective using the statistical yearbook data of 2010,2015 and 2020,and explores the ways of emission reduction,in order to provide reference for the development of carbon emission policies in Hainan Province. It is found that:① Carbon emissions in the province gradually decrease from east to west, with significant carbon emission clusters.② The level of urbanization and energy intensity are absolutely positively correlated with carbon emissions.③ Industrial structure has a larger impact on carbon emissions, but the development of de-capacity,structural adjustment and transformation methods are gradually on the right track.④There is a significant positive correlation between energy intensity and carbon emissions, with the high value area migrating and gathering to the east and the low value area gradually expanding, but the total amount of emissions is still gradually increasing.
