Research on carbon emission effect and efficiency of land use in Chengdu city
Land use change is one of the important factors affecting carbon emissions, and it is of great significance to study the law and mechanism of land use carbon emission effects to formulate targeted carbon emission reduction policies.Taking the county area of Chengdu as the research unit, this paper analyzes distribution characteristics of carbon emissions, carbon emission risk, and the relationship between carbon emission intensity and efficiency based on the land use and energy consumption data from 2010 to 2020.The results show that from 2010 to 2020,there was a decrease in the extent of cultivated land, forest land, and unused land in Chengdu, while the water area, grassland, and construction land witnessed an increase. From 2010 to 2020,the net carbon emissions of land use in Chengdu showed an overall growth trend, and the net carbon emissions increased by 553.62 × 104 t,with an average annual growth rate of 5.57%.In the past 10 years, the risk and pressure of land use carbon emissions in all counties increased year by year, and there was a large difference among counties. The areas with high carbon ecological pressure were mainly located in the main urban area of Chengdu. In 2020,Chengdu's high emissions-medium efficiency and medium emissions-high efficiency were located in the first circle;Medium emissions-medium efficiency was located in the second circle;Low emissions-low efficiency was located in the third circle.
