Thoughts and suggestions on implementing ecological seawall construction in China
As an important carrier of ecological civilization construction,ecological seawalls play a role in resisting typhoons and storm surges,reducing losses caused by natural disasters such as floods,and become a new direction for improving seawall construction in recent years.At present,the construction of ecological seawalls in China is still in its infancy,with problems such as high construction costs and unclear results.This paper analyzes and introduces the background,problems,connotations,goals,current situation,and difficulties of ecological seawall construction in China,and proposes countermeasures and suggestions for implementing ecological seawall construction based on the current national conditions,including strengthening the investigation of seawall ecological functions,breaking through key technologies,constructing a comprehensive management system,and conducting demonstration applications,in order to effectively improve the ecological service functions of shorelines and coastal wetlands,taking into account social benefits such as landscape and leisure entertainment,tourism and culture,creating a high quality marine environment,and providing guarantees for meeting the public's demand for sea friendly leisure and the healthy development of regional marine blue economy.
