Research on coordinated development of arable land intensive use and ecological security in Pearl River-XiJiang Economic Zone
Coordinating the relationship between intensive use and ecological security of arable land is an inevitable choice to realize the sustainable use of arable land.This study analyzes the coordinated development of intensive use and ecological security of arable land in 11 prefecture-level cities in the Pearl River-XiJiang Economic Zone during 2011-2020 by constructing an evaluation index system for the coordinated development of intensive use and ecological security of arable land in the Pearl River-XiJiang Economic Zone.The results indicate that in terms of time,the coordinated development degree of intensive use and ecological security of arable land in the Pearl River-XiJiang Economic Zone generally showed an optimized upward trend year by year,but 3 cities in the Guangdong section showed a fluctuating downward trend,and all cities in the Guangxi section reached the degree of barely harmonious development and initial harmonious development;In space,there are obvious regional differences in the coordinated development degree of prefectures and cities in the Pearl River-XiJiang Economic Zone.The results can provide reference and new development ideas for cities in the Pearl River-XiJiang Economic Zone to improve the coordinated development of intensive use and ecological security of arable land.
