The literature of the ethnic minority people occupies an important position in modern literature. The Jia Li of Miao is the carrier of the Miao culture.It has not only accounted for the Miao history and society, but is also oral literature to identify the neighboring ethnic groups today.In the ancient literature,“Ka”is ap-plied by the Miao to call “Mu Lao”.This paper,based on the study of linguistics,philology,history and mod-ern people’s legends and oral literature,verifies that the origin of the Ka people is evolved from the Liao,and they also have certain close cultural relationship with the Gelao clan.
