How did Kantian Aesthetics Delay the Aesthetic Temporality of Sensory Pleasure
As an intellectual ability for sensory pleasure, aesthetic life can only directly experience perceptible aesthetic objects and cannot engage in any indirect activities. This represents the one-time,primary,and absolute temporalization of aesthetic life.Kant, using rational mental faculties such as memory, reflection, and judgment employed in scientific and religious life, exerts significant control over disregarded feelings and sensory pleasures, causing the disappearance of aesthetic temporalization. This mismatch of mental abilities leads Kant to favor only visual and auditory senses, resulting in the amputation of other aesthetic senses and a significant loss of aesthetic objects.Consequently, the smoothness of aesthetic timeliness, simultaneousness, and temporal tense within aesthetic temporality is delayed.
