The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Diversification of Enterprise Export Products:an Empirical Study Based on Chinese Listed Companies
This paper mainly uses data matched by China's listed company database,China Customs database, and International Federation of Robotics(IFR)from 2010 to 2016 to empirically study the impact of artificial intelligence on the diversification of enterprise export products, and reveal its main impact mechanism. The research results indicate that artificial intelligence can significantly improve the diversification of enterprise export products. This conclusion is robust even when endogeneity, replacing core explanatory variables, and changing empirical testing methods are considered. At the same time, this promoting effect is more significant in non-state-owned enterprises, enterprises in the eastern region,labor-intensive enterprises, and general trade enterprises. The main influencing mechanism is the effect of improving enterprise production efficiency and the effect of improving enterprise technological innovation. In the further research,it was found that the business environment in the region where the enterprise is located and the degree of digital transformation of the enterprise have a positive moderating effect on the several levels of impact of artificial intelligence.
