Effect of Rolling and Annealing Process on Microstructure and Properties of C5071 Bronze Strip
During the preparation of C5071 bronze strip, the microstructure and mechanical properties of the strip are greatly affected by the different processing rates and intermediate stress relief annealing process. The results showed that the strip had flat surface,no crack defect and obvious microstructure de-fects when the processing rate was 86.21%and rolled to 2.0 mm.When the processing rate of middle rolling was 66.0%,the tensile strength, elongation rate and hardness of the strip were suitable, and the plate shape was relatively straight. The 0.5 mm finished products prepared by the optimal rolling process was subjected to low-temperature annealing treatment at temperatures of 210,230 and 290 ℃ for 3.5 h,respectively. With the increase of annealing temperature, the tensile strength of finished products decreased from 526 MPa to 500 MPa,and the elongation rate increased from 13.4%to 17.2%.The tensile strength of the strip with low annealing temperature was higher, the mechanical properties of the strip with high an-nealing temperature were lower, and the comprehensive properties of the strip after annealing at 230 ℃ for 3.5 h were in the middle range of technical requirements.
