20CrMnTi齿轮开裂失效分析

20CrMnTi齿轮经过真空渗碳及高压气淬低温回火热处理后,在磨齿工序发现齿轮开裂.通过化学成分分析、硬度测试、金相组织观察和断口形貌分析等方法对20CrMnTi齿轮开裂原因进行分析,结果表明齿坯存在过烧缺陷是导致齿轮开裂的根本原因.
Cracking Failure Analysis of 20CrMnTi Gear
After vaccum carburizing and high-pressure gas quenching low temperature tempering heat treat-ment,cracks were found in gear grinding process of the 20CrMnTi gear.The cracking causes of the 20CrMnTi gears were analyzed by means of chemical composition analysis,hardness test,metallographic structure observation and fracture morphology,etc.The results showed that the overburning defect in the gear blank was the fundamental cause of gear cracking.
