Effect of Strengthening Treatment on Microstructure and Properties of GIS Tank Body Weld
The transformer tank body used in gas insulated metal sealed composite electrical appliances(GIS)is made of 2A12 aluminum alloy material.In order to analyze the welding process of 2A12 alumi-num alloy and improve the weld quality of the tank body,the tungsten inert gas arc welding(TIG)process tests were conducted on 2A12 aluminum alloy,and the microstructure and properties of the welds were studied under different strengthening treatment conditions.Through comparative experiments,it was found that the performance of welds was different under different strengthening treatments.The performance of weld was the best after annealing+solid solution+graded aging strengthening treatment,while the perform-ance of weld was the worst after annealing+single-stage aging strengthening treatment.
