Effect of Heat Treatment Process on Microstructure and Properties of φ120 mm Wear-resistant Forging Balls
The influence of different normalizing end temperature on the microstructure and properties of wear-resistant forged ball was studied by normalizing+quenching+tempering process. The test results show that when the normalizing air-cooling end temperature is 200℃,the microstructure is fine tempered martensite and uniformly distributed residual austenite, the surface hardness,1/4R and core hardness are 58.6,58.4 and 58.4 HRC,respectively, the impact energy is 134 J,and the mechanical properties are the best.
