Composition analysis of 2 529 cases of urinary calculi in Wuxi area
Objective To analyze the composition of 2 529 cases of urinary calculi in Wuxi area,and to provide reference for the clinical prevention and treatment of urinary calculi.Methods From March 2009 to October 2021,2 529 cases of urinary calculi in Wuxi City,Jiangsu Province were collected.Composition of the urinary calculi were analyzed by urinary calculi infrared light automatic analyzer,and the clinical data of the patients were analyzed.Results A total of 19 kinds of stone components were detected,including 9 kinds of single stone components,a total of 990 cases.There were 1 539 cases of 10 kinds of mixed component stones.Calcium oxalate was the main component of the single stone,840 cases.Calcium oxalate+carbonate apatite was the main mixed component of stones,a total of 1 335 cases.The incidence of calcium oxalate and uric acid stones in male patients was higher than that in female patients.The incidence of infective stones in female patients was higher than that in male patients(all P<0.05).The number of stones in the age group of 36-60 was the highest.In all age groups,the highest incidence of stone components are calcium oxalates.The inci-dence of uric acid stones in 61-86 years of age was higher,and the differences were statistically signifi-cant(all P<0.05).In different parts,the highest incidence of stone components are calcium ox-alates.The incidence of uric acid stones in bladder was significantly higher than that in other parts,with statistical significance(all P<0.05).In different ages,the incidence of upper urinary tract stones is significantly higher than that of lower urinary tract stones.The incidence of bladder stones was the highest in 61-86 ages,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).Con-clusions The main composition of urinary calculi in Wuxi area is calcium oxalate,with differences in gender,age and location.This study has important reference value for the clinical prevention and treat-ment of urinary calculi.
