Serum TNF-α analysis of clinical value of level monitoring and microbial morphology test in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of urinary tract infection
Objective To investigate the serum tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α),and to analyze the clinical value of level monitoring and microbial morphology test in the prevention and treat-ment of urinary tract infection. Methods A total of 114 patients with urinary system infection admitted to our hospital from June 2017 to August 2020 were selected as the study group, and 86 healthy people who underwent physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group.Serum TNF-α levels of the two groups of patients were observed. Then the study group was divided into rou-tine test group(57 cases)and microbiological test group(57 cases)according to the test method, and the clinical diagnosis accuracy of the two groups was analyzed and compared. Results The serum TNF-α level of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statis-tically significant(P<0.05).The diagnosis rate of the microbiological test group was higher than that of the canventional test group, and the difference was statistically significant[91.23%(52/57)vs.75.44%(43/57),P=0.023].After 14 days of treatment, the patients with severe and moderate in-fection in the microbiological test group were less than those in the conventional test group, and the patients with mild infection were more than those in the conventional test group, with statistical signifi-cance(all P<0.05).Urinary system infection was positively correlated with serum TNF-α levels(r=0.271,P=0.012).Conclusions Serum TNF-α level is a potential diagnostic marker for pa-tients with urinary system infection, and microbial morphology test is also feasible for patients with uri-nary system infection, which can effectively determine the type of pathogenic bacteria infection, and has a great role in clinical prevention and treatment.
