Efficacy analysis of transperineal and transrectal prostate biopsy under ultrasound guidance
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of ultrasound-guided trans-perineal and transrectal prostate puncture. Methods From January 2022 to December 2022,156 pa-tients with prostate cancer who had received prostate biopsy were analyzed retrospectively.Patients were divided into transrectal group(82 cases)and perineal group(74 cases)according to different puncture methods. The rates of puncture positive and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The puncture time and visual analogus scale(VAS)pain score of the transperineal group were lower than those of the transrectal group, with no statistical significance(all P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the positive rate of prostate biopsy between the two groups(all P>0.05).The incidence of fever, gross hematuria and rectal bleeding in the transrectal group was higher than that in the transperineal group(all P<0.05).Conclusions Transperineal prostate punc-ture has relatively few postoperative complications, higher security, and makes it easier for most pa-tients to accept. Therefore, transperineal prostate puncture under ultrasound guidance will have broa-der prospects and is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
