Diagnostic value of ultrasonic shear wave equipment combined with serum PSA and testoster-one in prostate cancer
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of ultrasound shear wave elastogra-phy(SWE)combined with serum prostate specific antigen(PSA)and testosterone in prostate cancer. Methods A total of 106 patients with prostate disease in our hospital from October 2019 to October 2022 were selected.According to the results of pathological examination, they were divided into pros-tate cancer group(59 cases)and prostatic hyperplasia group(47 cases). They were examined by bi-opsy pathology, elastic value of rectal ultrasonic SWE,and serum PSA and testoster one levels were detected by ELISA.The general data,SWE sonographic characteristics and serum PSA and testoster-one levels of the two groups were compared, the influencing factors of prostate cancer were analyzed, receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were drawn, and the efficacy of ultrasonic shear wave equipment combined with serum PSA and testosterone in the diagnosis of prostate cancer was evalua-ted.Results The levels of prostate volume oxtestosterone in prostate cancer group were lower than those in BPH group, and serum PSA and SWE elasticity values were higher than those in BPH group(all P<0.001).In the shear wave elastic imaging mode,The asymmetric distribution was 52 cases(88.14%)in the prostate cancer group and 12 cases(25.53%)in the prostate hyperplasia group(P<0.05).Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that prostate volume,PSA,testosterone,Emean,Emin,Emax were the influencing factors of prostate cancer(P<0.001).ROC curve analysis showed that the sensitivity and specificity of PSA,testosterone and SWE elastic value Emax in the di-agnosis of prostate cancer were 79.66%and 95.74%respectively,which were better than those of single index diagnosis. Conclusions The levels of Emean,Emin,Emax and serum PSA of SWE in pros-tate cancer patients increased, while the level of serum testosterone decreased. The combination of PSA,testosterone and SW E has high diagnostic value for prostate cancer and is worthy of promotion and application.
