Value of serum creatinine, cystatin C combined with urinary microalbumin in detecting early renal function impairment in diabetic patients
Objective To investigate the value of serum creatinine(Scr),cystatin C(Cys C)and urinary microalbumin(mAlb)combined detection in patients with early renal function injury in dia-betes mellitus. Methods Form February 2020 to February 2023,80 diabetic patients in our hospital were selected and divided into two groups according to the early renal function impairment group(30 cases)and no early renal function impairment group(50 cases). In addition,50 healthy subjects in the same period were selected as the healthy control group. The serum levels and positivity of Scr,BUN,Cys C and mAlb in the three groups were statistically analyzed, and the diagnostic efficacy of Cys C and mAlb alone and combined tests were statistically analyzed. Results Clinical diagnosis the group with early renal function injury were higher than those in the group without early renal function injury and healthy control group(all P<0.05).The levels of serum Cys C and mAlb in the group without early renal injury were higher than those in the healthy control group(all P<0.05).The positive rates of Cys C and mAlb in patients without early renal function injury were higher than those in healthy control group(all P<0.05).Among the 30 patients with early renal function injury,17 were clinical-ly positive and 13 were negative,19 were positive for Cys C and 11 were negative, and 19 were posi-tive for mAlb and 11 were negative. The diagnostic efficacy of Cys C and mAlb combined test was higher than that of single test(P<0.05).Conclusions The combined test of Scr,Cys C and mAlb is more valuable than the single test in the diagnosis of early renal function injury in diabetic patients.
