Interpretation of the Endocrine Society Clinical Practice Guideline on Treatment of Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Adults

摘要
2023年美国骨矿盐研究学会和欧洲内分泌学会发布了《成人恶性肿瘤高钙血症的治疗:内分泌学会临床实践指南》,指南首先概述了成人恶性肿瘤高钙血症及本指南制订的背景,随后共提出并回答了 8个与成人恶性肿瘤高钙血症治疗相关的临床问题.该指南是在内分泌学会召集下,由多学科临床专家组成了一个小组,并联合系统文献综述专家,讨论了成人恶性肿瘤高钙血症治疗的相关问题,最终形成临床实践指南.本指南为成人恶性肿瘤高钙血症的治疗给予了很好的建议和推荐,并阐述了建议和推荐的证据,同时也强调了当前关于此方面循证证据的欠缺.
Abstract
The Endocrine Society released"Treatment of Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Adults:An Endocrine Society Clinical Practice Guideline"in 2003.Firstly,hypercalcemia of malignancy in adults was overviewed,and the background of the development of this guideline was explained.Subsequently,a to-tal of 8 clinical questions associated with the treatment of hypercalcemia of malignancy in adults were identi-fied and answered.A multidisciplinary clinical expert group convened by the Endocrine Society,together with systematic literature review experts,discussed the relevant issues in the treatment of hypercalcemia of malignancy in adults and developed clinical practice guidelines.The guidelines provided good recommenda-tions based on currently available evidence for the treatment of hypercalcemia of malignancy in adults.Fur-thermore,the guidelines also emphasized the relative lack of evidence.
