Pathological subtypes and clinical features of pituitary neuroendocrine tumors presenting as acrome-glay
Acromegaly is an endocrine disorder caused by excessive secretion of growth hormone(GH),posing serious health risks to patients,which is mostly caused by pituitary neuroendocrine tumors(PitNETs)that secrete GH.There are varies of pathological subtypes of acromegaly patients'PitNETs.Understanding the distinct clinical features of different pathological subtypes of PitNETs presenting as acro-megaly in clinical,aids in precise treatment and follow-up guidance for acromegaly patients.This review summarizes all previously reported PitNETs pathological subtypes those presenting as acromegaly in clinical,along with their corresponding pathological and clinical characteristics.
