Diabetes peripheral neuropathic pain(DPNP)seriously affects the quality of life of dia-betes patients.At present,there is no strong evidence to support that blood glucose control and lifestyle in-terventions can improve DPNP,and drug analgesia is the main treatment method.This article provides sug-gestions on the pathogenesis,clinical manifestations,and diagnostic criteria of DPNP,as well as the clini-cal use of the novel calcium channel regulator Crisugabalin in DPNP.
