Advances in the application of super-resolution ultrasound in tumor vascular imaging
Super-resolution ultrasound(SRUS)utilizes contrast agent microbubbles as point targets for localization and tracking, employing artificial intelligence to depict and predict the location of microvessels. This technique allows for imaging of microvessels at the micron scale non-invasively.Oncology is one of the primary applications of super-resolution ultrasound,as non-invasive imaging of tumor microvascular system is crucial for early detection, diagnosis, and prognosis assessment of tumors.SRUS overcomes the acoustic diffraction limit, enabling quantitative analysis of tumor microvascular systems at the micron scale and providing an important diagnostic method for the study of tumor microvasculature.
