Objective To explore the application of the BOPPPS teaching model and the concept of student research training(SRT)in the teaching of"Pharmaceutical Experiment".Methods From September 2022 to September 2023,taking 230 undergraduate students majoring in pharmacy from the 2019 and 2020 cohorts of Pingdingshan University as research subjects,they were divided into experimental and control group.The experimental group adopted a teaching method integrated with the BOPPPS-based model and SRT concept,while the control group received traditional teaching methods.At the end of the semester,the experimental operation scores,group design scores,and teaching satisfaction were examined.Results The comprehensive scores in both processive and summative evaluation,as well as teaching satisfaction were higher in the experimental group than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The teaching method of"Pharmaceutical Experiment"based on the BOPPPS model and the SRT concept is more beneficial than the traditional teaching method in improving students'experimental operation skills and enhancing their divergent thinking and comprehensive application of knowledge to solve problems.
