Objective To construct a clinical nurse humanistic care training model based on enhancing narrative nursing ability and explore its application effect in clinical training.Methods In December 2022,six wards were randomly selected in a tertiary hospital in Wuxi city by cluster sampling method.60 clinical nurses were included as research subjects.The immersive experiential training program,which combined learning narrative nursing basic theory,narrative story empathy,application of clinical practice,participating in situational experience,writing reflective case reports,and participating in humanities materials development and creation.The levels of knowledge,attitude and behavior,medical narrative capability,empathy ability,humanities care capability,and patient satisfaction of clinical nurses were compared before and after training,and the satisfaction of nurses with the training program was investigated after the training.Results After the training,the levels of narrative nursing knowledge,attitude and behavior,the medical narrative capability and empathy ability,humanities care capability and the patient satisfaction were all increased(P<0.05).The overall satisfaction rate of nurses with the training program was 100%.Conclusions The humanistic care training model based on improving narrative nursing capabilities can effectively improve the levels of narrative knowledge attitude and behavior,narrative nursing capability,empathy ability,humanities care capability,and patient satisfaction.This training model has practical significance and promotion value,and can provide a reference for humanities care training for clinical nurses.
