Objective To explore the impact of 5G Internet era smart ward on patient satisfaction in hospitalized patients.Methods Applying 5G technology and related intelligent hardware devices,mainly including the Internet,artificial intelligence and the Internet of things.A mobile nursing management,vital sign monitoring,wireless infusion monitoring,mobile ward rounds,remote consultation and other integrated 5G smart ward based on 5G technology was constructed.A retrospective analysis was conducted on patient satisfaction data from 123 patients in internal medicine wards of a grade A tertiary hospital from January to June 2021 and January to June 2022,The control group included 54 discharged patients randomly selected before the management of 5G smart ward in 2021 from January to June,while the observation group included 69 discharged patients randomly selected after the management of 5G smart ward in 2022 from January to June.The satisfaction and evaluation of health education,health education effect between the two groups were compared.Results The satisfaction and evaluation of health education and health education effect in the observation group were all higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusions The application of smart ward system management can improve patient satisfaction and health education satisfaction,and enhance the health education effect of hospitalized patients.
