Objective To develop a pelvic floor muscles rehabilitation training program for patients following transurethral resection of the prostate(TURP)for benign prostatic hyperplasia.Methods The pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training program for patients after TURP was preliminary constructed through literature retrieval,qualitative interviews,and expert group meeting.The Delphi method was employed for two rounds of expert consultations,and the program was modified based on expert advice and suggestions.Results The final developed pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training program for patients after TURP 3 first-level indicators(rehabilitation training evaluation,duration and content of rehabilitation training,12 second-level indicators,and 53 third-level indicators.Conclusions The developed pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation training program constructed for patients after TURP is scientific,safe and feasible.It could provide guidance for clinical nursing practice in the rehabilitation training of pelvic floor muscle in patients after TURP.
