Objective To explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention method in temperature management of patients after general anesthesia in post anesthesia care unit(PACU).Methods A total of 120 patients in PACU after general anesthesia from Luoyang Central Hospital June 2022 to December 2022 were selected, they were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group according to random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was received routine nursing measures in the anesthesia recovery room, while the observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention measures. The awake time, recovery room stay time, tracheal catheter removal time and the incidence of hypothermia and shivering were observed. Results The awake time, anesthesia recovery room stay time and tracheal catheter removal time of the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the incidence of hypothermia and shivering in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The implementation of comprehensive nursing intervention in PACU can reduce the incidence of hypothermia and chills, shorten the awake time of patients, the stay time in PACU and the withdrawal time of tracheal catheter, which is worthy of clinical application.
