Objective To observe the effect of microvideo action-oriented education combined with HACCP rehabilitation nursing in first-time hemodialysis patients. Methods A total of 120 patients with end-stage renal disease who underwent hemodialysis for the first time in Nanjing Gulou Hospital Group Suqian Hospital from May 2020 to May 2023 were selected. They were divided into an observation group(n=60)and a control group(n=60)based on the characteristic balance between the groups. The patients of the control group were followed the routine nursing method for maintenance hemodialysis, while the ones of the observation group were added micro-video action-oriented education combined with HACCP rehabilitation nursing intervention. The patients of the two groups were compared on various indicators after intervention. Results The disease uncertainty score of patients of the the group was lower than that of the control group, and the self-management ability score was higher. The residual renal function index was better than that of the control group, the incidence of hemodialysis complications were lower, and the quality of life score was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions The application of micro-video action-oriented education combined with HACCP rehabilitation nursing in first-time hemodialysis patients would be beneficial for reducing disease uncertainty, improving self-management ability, protecting residual kidney function, reducing hemodialysis complications, and optimizing quality of life.
