Analysis of the application effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Re-Yan Bao combined with retention enema in patients with chronic pelvic inflammation
Objective To explore the application effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Re-Yan Bao combined with retention enema on patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and its impact on quality of daily life.Methods From January 2020 to December 2022,a total of 139 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease admitted to Zhongshan Chenxinghai Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital were selected.According to the different treatment methods,they were divided into a control group(69 cases were treated with conventional Western medicine)and an observation group(70 cases were treated with combination of traditional Chinese medicine and retention enema).The clinical efficacy,traditional Chinese medicine symptom scores,symptom improvement time,pelvic pain degree,vaginal pH value,and quality of life were compared.Results The improvement time of lower abdominal pain,lumbosacral pain,lower abdominal distension and abnormal leucorrhea in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the scores of lower abdomen pain and lumbosacral pain,abdominal distension,abnormal leucorrhea,mental fatigue and frequency of urination in the two groups were significantly lower than before,and the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the vaginal pH value and pelvic pain(VAS)evaluation were decreased in both groups,especially in the observation group(P＜0.05).The total effective rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,the score of SF-36 was higher in both groups than before,and it was more obvious in the observation group(P＜0.05).Conclusions The application of Traditional Chinese Medicine Re-Yan Bao combined with retention enema in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease patients can achieve definite therapeutic effects,alleviate pain,significantly improve patient symptoms,and ensure good quality of life and prognosis.
