Objective To investigate the current status of patients with midline catheter indwelling,and analyze its influencing factors,so as to provide reference for the subsequent formulation of effective intervention measures.Methods A total of 434 patients with midline catheter indwelling from three Grade A tertiary hospitals in Hebei Province were selected by convenience sampling method,The Midline Catheter Nursing Quality Evaluation Scale were used for the investigation.Results The total score of Midline Catheter Nursing Quality Evaluation Scale was(232.08±15.83),which belonged to the above medium level,the achievement rate of professional teams was lower in the structural dimension,the qualified rate of nursing records was lower in the process dimension,and the incidence of thrombus was higher in the outcome dimension.The multiple linear regression showed that age,number of illnesses,body mass index,catheterization length,catheterization times and indent time were the main influencing factors of nursing quality evaluation of patients with midline catheter indwelling(P＜0.05).After five variables were included in the regression equation,55.7%of the variation was explained in the nursing quality evaluation for patients with midline catheter indwelling.Conclusions According to the results of the scale,the nursing quality of patients with midline catheter indwelling was above the medium level.Patients with lower BMI,less number of catheters,maintain the midline catheter indwelling on time can effectively improve the nursing quality of midline catheter indwelling.
