Atopic dermatitis is a common pruritus skin disease in dermatology.Pruritus significantly contributes to the occurrence and progression of this disease.Effective treatment of pruritus is essential for controlling atopic dermatitis,and accurate assessment of pruritus iscrucial for developing an effective itch management plan for patients.This paper reviews commonly used assessment tools for pruritus in atopic dermatitis patients both domestically and abroad,discussing their contents,characteristics,advantages,limitations and applications.The aim is to assist medical professionals in selecting appropriate assessment tools to improve the accuracy of pruritus symptoms evaluation in patients with atopic dermatitis.
