With the failure of ovarian function,the function of other important organs is also gradually decreased.Some perimenopausal women experience physical,mental symptoms or illnesses,which affect their quality of life.Menopausal hormone therapy(MHT)improves and alleviates the symptoms caused by decline or even failure of ovarian function by adding exogenous sex hormones.This paper reviewed the application scope,commonly regimens and the risks and benefits of various sex hormones,including progestogens,estrogens,combined estrogen-progestogens preparations in MHT,in order to provide a reference for drug use in perimenopausal women.
