The role of clinical pharmacists in the popularization of pharmaceutical science in patients with threatened abortion
Objective To explore the influence of clinical pharmacists on the level of knowledge, attitude, practice(KAP)in patients with threatened abortion. Methods Patients with threatened abortion in the obstetrics clinic of our hospital from March 2020 to August 2020 were selected as the baseline group(386 cases).Patients with threatened abortion in the obstetrics clinic of our hospital from March 2021 to August 2021 were selected as the popular science intervention group(321 cases). The intervention group received medication education and guidance from clinical pharmacists on the popularization of threatened abortion and related drug popularization intervention manuals. The KAP level of the two groups was evaluated by the questionnaire on knowledge, attitude and practice of safe medication behavior of pregnant women. The score difference between the two groups was compared, and the factor analysis was used to explore the key issues affecting the KAP level. Results The total questionnaire scores of baseline group and popular science intervention group were(87.75±8.65)pionts and(101.29±12.69)pionts,respectively.In the baseline group, the average score of knowledge was(24.63±4.42)pionts,the average score of attitude was(29.68±4.65)pionts,and the average score of behavior was(33.44±6.78)pionts,which was lower than the(27.65±5.44),(34.15±6.22)and(39.49±7.00)pionts of the popular science intervention group. Conclusion The awareness of drugs in the popular science intervention group was significantly higher than that in the baseline group, suggesting that the comprehensive management mode of pharmaceutical intervention by clinical pharmacists could improve the level of KAP in patients with threatened abortion.
