Objective To investigate the relationship between poor living habits, environment and pregnancy outcome in elderly pregnant women with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Method A retrospective study was conducted to select elderly pregnant women with GDM who gave birth in Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from September 2022 to September 2023 as the study objects.Data were collected through questionnaires and multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the influence of adverse lifestyle habits on pregnancy outcomes in elderly pregnant women with GDM.Result There were 202 pregnant women with GDM,with an average age of(37.5±2.2)years and 18.3%age≥ 40 years.Among the 52 cases,61 adverse pregnancy outcomes occurred, the incidence rate was 25.7%,including 19 cases of premature rupture of membranes,14 cases of macrosomia,11 cases of primipara cesarean section,7 cases of premature delivery,5 cases of low birth weight,3 cases of postpartum hemorrhage and 2 cases of neonatal asphyxia.Logistic regression analysis showed that age≥40 years old and insufficient sleep were risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes(odds ratio values were 2.11 and 2.43,respectively).Conclusion As an interventionable lifestyle, sleep should be included in the routine work of pregnancy and perinatal health care, and full attention should be paid to elderly pregnancies, which is of great significance for reducing adverse pregnancy outcomes in elderly GDM pregnant women.
