Analysis of risk factors for lenalidomide-related anemia in elderly patients
Objective To analyze risk factors for linezolid-induced anemia in elderly patients. Methods The elderly patients receiving linezolid treatment in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Hospital from January 1,2020 to December 31,2022 were collected. The patients were divided into the anemia group and the non-anemia group. The demographic characteristics, infection site, infection indicators, whether continuous renal replacement therapy was received, quick sequential organ failure assessment(qSOFA)score, laboratory test indicators, estimated glomerular filtration rate(eGFR),and drug use in the two groups were compared.Multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze the independent risk factors of linezolid-related anemia in elderly patients. Results A total of 104 patients were included, with 19 cases(18.3%)in the anemic group and 85 cases(81.7%)in the non-anemic group.Multivariable logistic regression identified duration of medication(P=0.003),eGFR(P=0.008),and qSOFA score(P=0.002)as independent risk factors for linezolid-induced anemia. Conclusion Linezolid-induced anemia in elderly patients is associated with duration of medication,eGFR,and qSOFA score, which should be paid attention to clinical application.
