Determination of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium ions in Sodium Bicarbonate Ringer's Injection by ion chromatography
Objective To establish a method for simultaneous determination of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium ions in Sodium Bicarbonate Ringer's Injection. Methods Dionex IonPacTM CS12A(250 mm×4 mm)column and Dionex IonPacTM CG12A(50 mm×4 mm)protective column were used.Methanesulfonic acid solution(12 mmol/L)was used as eluent;the flow rate was 1.00 mL/min,the sample volume was 20 μL,the detection method was conductivity detection, and the column temperature was 30℃.Results The linear relationship between the peak area of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium ions was good(r>0.999)in the concentration range of 6—120 μg/mL,6—120 μg/mL,1—20 μg/mL,and 2.4—48 μg/mL,respectively.The average recoveries were 103.82%,99.75%,101.31%,and 98.92% with RSD values of 0.91%,1.40%,1.85%,and 1.65%,respectively.Conclusion The method takes less time and is simple to operate, which greatly improves the detection efficiency and provides a new method for the detection of sodium, potassium, magnesium, and calcium cations in Sodium Bicarbonate Ringer's Injection.
