Objective To analyze the usage of class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Ning'an Hospital from 2021 to 2024,analyze the changing trend,and promote the rational use of class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs in the hospital.Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted to collect the sales amount and usage of class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Ning'an Hospital from 2021 to 2024.The frequency of use(DDDs)of class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs was calculated,and the daily cost(DDC)was determined based on the drug ranking ratio(B/A).Results From 2021 to 2024,The sales amount of class Ⅱpsychotropic drugs in hospitals is gradually increasing,with sales amount and ranking of oxazepam,zaleplon,and lorazepam(1 mg)consistently ranking among the top;The DDDs of the class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs have shown an overall increasing trend year by year,with levozopiclone,estazolam,and alprazolam consistently ranking among the top.The DDDs of levozopiclone(3 mg)and zaleplon dispersible tablets have decreased significantly.The DDC and ranking of the class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs are basically stable,with oxalazepam,zaleplon,and dizocin injection having higher DDC and consistently ranking in the top 3.The B/A ratios of zolpidem tartrate(5 mg),zopiclone tablets,phenobarbital tablets,diazepam tablets,clonazepam tablets(0.5 mg),and dizoxin injection are all close to 1.Conclusion There are still unreasonable phenomena in the use of class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Ning'an Hospital.We will continue to strengthen the management and supervision of class Ⅱ psychotropic drugs to ensure the safety,effectiveness,and economy of patient medication.
