A probe into the psychological status of major public health policy adjustment on female nurses
Objective To understand the impact of major public health policy adjustment on the psychological status of female nurses, and to explore measures to strengthen the psychological problems of female nurses. Methods On December 20,2022,435 female nurses from a grade A tertiary hospital in Chongqing were selected as the participants by convenience sam-pling.A cross-sectional survey was carried out using the self-made general data questionnaire, work stressor scale, and per-ceptual stress scale(PSS-10).Results The total score of PSS-10 in female nurses was(25.44±5.91)points,which be-longed to the state of high-stress level.Among them,22 patients in the low-stress level group had PSS-10 scores of(7.19±3.96)points;21 patients in the medium-stress level group had PSS-10 scores of(17.18±1.65)points;and 392 patients in the high-stress level group had PSS-10 scores of(26.88±3.75)points.No significant differences were observed in percep-tual stress levels among female nurses with different sociodemographic characteristics(P>0.05),while significant differ-ences were observed in work stressor scale scores among female nurses in different perceptual stress levels groups(P<0.05).Potential profile analysis found three potential categories of nurses'perceived stress:low pressure-high energy, high pressure-instability,and high pressure-stability.Conclusion Female nurses'perception pressure level remains high during major public health policy adjustments. The potential profile analysis of female nurses'perceptual stress can be divided into three types:low pressure-high energy, high pressure-instability and high pressure-stability.Hospital administrators should take different psychological intervention measures for nurses in line with different types, and pay special attention to the psy-chological intervention of high pressure-instability type nurses.
