"Internet Plus"preoperative visit in the perioperative period of elective gynecological surgery patients
Objective To explore the application effectiveness of the"Internet Plus"preoperative visit in the perioperative pe-riod of elective gynecological surgery patients,in order to provide evidence for nursing intervention of elective gynecological surgery patients. Methods A total of 300 gynecological patients who underwent elective surgery from January to March 2022 at Foshan,Shunde Fifth People's Hospital were selected as the study participants. They were randomly allocated into a study group and a control group, with 150 cases in each group. The control group received routine preoperative visit inter-vention,while the study group received"Internet Plus"preoperative visit intervention based on the control group. The peri-operative indicators, psychological status, postoperative pain level,self-care ability,self-efficacy level, and nursing compli-ance of the two groups were compared. Results No significant difference was found in the Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)scores before intervention between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the HAMA scores of both groups were lower than before intervention, and the study group was lower than the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).The study group had shorter time to first flatus and length of hospital stay, lower postoperative Visual Analog Scale(VAS)scores, and lower Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)scores than the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).There was no signifi-cant difference in the self-care ability scale(ESCA)and general self-efficacy scale(GSES)scores before intervention between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the ESCA and GSES scores of both groups were significantly higher than before interven-tion,and the study group was significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).The nursing compliance rate of the study group was significantly higher than the control group[92.67%(139/150)vs.82.00%(123/150);x2=7.714,P=0.005].The degree of satisfaction with nursing of the study group was 96.67%(145/150),which was significantly higher than the control group's 90.67%(136/150;x2=4.551,P=0.033).Conclusion The application of"Internet Plus"preoperative visits in elective gynecological surgery patients can help promote patients'psychological status, enhance their self-care ability, timely and accurately grasp postoperative recovery-related knowledge, alleviate postoperative pain, shorten the length of hospital stay, and raise sleep quality, holding promise for a wider application clinically.
