Research progress on the calculation method of economic burden of COPD disease
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease(COPD)is a disease with multiple complications,poor prognosis,and the need for patients to adhere to long-term medication.It imposes a huge economic burden on patients,society,and the coun-try due to its huge expenses.The economic burden of the disease can be divided into direct and indirect costs.By calculating the economic burden of COPD disease,it can provide a reference basis for the rational allocation of medical resources.This article reviews the prevalence of COPD and the methods for calculating the economic burden of COPD disease,aiming to provide evidence for relevant research.
