Interventional effects of comprehensive optimized nursing in patients undergoing CAG and PCI via radial artery puncture
Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive optimized nursing on preventing bleeding at the puncture site in patients undergoing coronary angiography(CAG)and percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)via radial artery punc-ture.Methods A total of 118 patients who underwent CAG and PCI via radial artery puncture at Fuyang People's Hospital between February 2021 and March 2023 were selected and randomly assigned to a control group and an observation group, with 59 cases in each group. The control group received routine perioperative nursing, while the observation group received comprehensive optimized nursing.Postoperative bleeding, pain severity, comfort level, and degree of satisfaction with nurs-ing were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of postoperative bleeding in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group[3.38%(2/59)vs.13.55%(8/59);x2=3.933,P=0.047].No signifi-cant difference was found in Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)scores before intervention between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention,NRS scores were higher than before in both groups, but lower in the observation group compared to the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).Before intervention, there were no significant differences in the four subscales(social, psychological, spiritual, and physiological)and total scores of the Kolcaba General Comfort Questionnaire(GCQ)between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the subscales and total scores were higher in both groups, with the observation group scoring significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).The degree of satisfaction with nursing scores, including service quality, environmental facilities, and outcomes, was significantly higher in the observation group compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive optimized nursing can significantly reduce postoperative puncture site bleeding, alleviate pain, and improve patient comfort and degree of satisfaction with nursing in patients undergoing CAG and PCI via radial artery puncture, demonstrating good clinical application value.
