Application of staged cardiac rehabilitation nursing based on the sharing concept in retired elderly patients with coronary heart disease
Objective To explore the effectiveness of staged cardiac rehabilitation nursing intervention based on the sharing concept in retired elderly patients with coronary heart disease(CHD),aiming to provide a reference for improving the quali-ty of life of elderly CHD patients. Methods A total of 122 retired elderly CHD patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University from September 2020 to September 2022 were selected and randomly assigned to a control group and an observation group, each with 61 cases. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received staged cardiac rehabilitation nursing intervention based on the sharing concept in addition to the control group's intervention. The psychological status,self-management ability, rehabilitation confidence, quality of life, and the incidence of cardiac adverse events within one year of follow-up were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. Results Before intervention,no significant difference was found in the subscale scores(resili-ence,strength,and optimism)of the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)between the two groups(P>0.05);af-ter intervention, the subscale scores of the CD-RISC scale in both groups were significantly increased, and the observation group's scores were significantly higher than the control group's(P<0.05).Before intervention,no significant difference was observed in the subscale scores(symptoms, first aid, disease knowledge, emotions, bad habits, life, and treatment compliance)of the Coronary Artery Disease Self-Management Scale(CSMS)between the two groups(P>0.05);after in-tervention,the subscale scores of the CSMS scale in both groups showed a significant raise, and the observation group's scores were significantly higher than the control group's(P<0.05).Before intervention,no significant difference was noted in the subscale scores(talents, environmental perception, effort perception, achievement, and self-expectation)of the Gen-eral Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the subscale scores of the GSES scale in both groups were significantly higher than before intervention, and the observation group's scores were significantly higher than the control group's(P<0.05).Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in the sub-scale scores(physical domain, emotional domain, and other domains)of the Chinese version of the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ)between the two groups(P>0.05);after intervention, the subscale scores of the MLHFQ scale in both groups were significantly lower than before intervention, and the observation group's scores were sig-nificantly lower than the control group's(P<0.05).No significant difference was observed in the incidence of cardiac ad-verse events between the two groups(x2=0.606,P=0.436).Conclusion Staged cardiac rehabilitation nursing interven-tion based on the sharing concept can markedly promote the self-management ability and rehabilitation confidence of retired elderly CHD patients, and increase the quality of life, which is worth promoting in clinical practice.
