Impact of magnetic service concept-based nursing on self-care ability, quality of life, and nursing satisfaction in patients with Helicobacter pylori-related peptic ulcer
Objective To observe the impact of nursing based on the magnetic service concept on self-care ability, quality of life, and nursing satisfaction in patients with Helicobacter pylori(Hp)-related peptic ulcer,in order to provide a reference for clinical nursing decision-making.Methods A total of 230 patients with Hp-related peptic ulcer, who were admitted to a hospital in Hebei from January 2021 to December 2022,were selected as the study participants.Patients were randomly al-located to the observation group and the control group, with 115 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received nursing care based on the magnetic service concept. Both groups received nursing care for 1 month.Disease uncertainty,self-care ability, quality of life, and nursing satisfaction were assessed using the Managing Uncertainty in Illness Scale(MUIS),Appraisal Self-Care Agency Scale-Revision in Chinese(ASAS-R-C),QoL Instruments for Chronic Disease-peptic ulcer(QLICD-PU),and Nursing Satisfaction Survey. Results Before interven-tion,no significant differences were found in the MUIS scores(subscale and total scores),ASAS-R-C scores(subscale and total scores),and QLICD-PU scores(subscale scores)between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the MUIS scores(subscale and total scores)for both groups were lower than before intervention, and the observation group had lower scores than the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).The ASAS-R-C scores(subscale and total scores)for both groups were higher than be-fore intervention, and the observation group had higher scores than the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).The sub-scale scores of QLICD-PU for both groups were higher than before intervention, and the observation group had higher scores than the control group, with significant differences(P<0.05).After intervention, the subscale scores of nursing satisfaction in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing based on the magnetic service concept can help ensure patients'psychological health, reduce disease uncertainty, promote self-care ability, increase quality of life, and lead to higher nursing satisfaction. It is worth promoting in clinical practice.
