Deconstruction of Imagery:Visual Cultural Interpretation of Mandarin's House Lime Modeling Craft and Mural Art in Macau
The present study focuses on the lime modeling craft and mural art in Mandarin's House in Macau,using the theory of iconography to deeply analyze its unique visual symbols and cultural implications.Through a detailed interpretation of the flowers and birds,human figures in lime modeling craft,and traditional story scenes in the murals,the present study reveals how these artis-tic works reflect the characteristics of the Cantonese area culture and the social status of the homeowners.The study emphasizes the ap-plication value of iconography theory in interpreting traditional architectural decorative arts,providing a new perspective and theoretical support for the protection and inheritance of the unique cultural heritage in Macau,china.
