Vocational Ability Training Strategy for Newly-hired Counselors in Colleges and Universities
Counselors are an important part of the construction of teachers in colleges and universities,the leader of ideological and political education of college students,and play an important role in the education of colleges and universities.Under the new sit-uation,how to guide newly-hired counselors to quickly adapt to their job,enhance professional ability,and establish a sense of re-sponsibility is an important issue of the development of colleges and universities.By clarifying the basic work of newly-hired counselors in colleges and universities,the author further points out the problems faced by newly-hired counselors in their work,that is,facing new positions,great work responsibilities and pressure;lack of mastery of professional knowledge,and the theoretical level needs to be improved;inertial thinking,weak innovation ability;lack of guidance of scientific research team,weak scientific research skills;young team,and greater job mobility.To solve problems mentioned above,the author proposes the following solution:to formulate a reasonable work plan and set priorities,improve the theoretical level and enhance vocational ability,improve and change work ideas and strengthen innovation awareness,formulate career plans and improve scientific research ability,enhance professional identity,as well as formulate strategies for post management mechanisms,so as to improve the professional ability of newly-hired counselors.
