Historical Evolution and Future Trends of Multimodal Move Analysis in Tourism Promotional Materials
The present study conducts an in-depth analysis of Multimodal Move Analysis in the context of tourism promotional materials,covering its historical evolution,current practices,and future trends.The result shows that the field has developed from initial unimodal text analyses to the complex analysis that comprehensively considers the interaction of multiple modes.Through the case study of the"Xi'an,China"tourism promotion video,the present study reveals the significant role of multimodal analysis in deeply understanding and influencing the design of tourism promotional materials.Additionally,the study explores the challenges and new opportunities for multimodal analysis in the realms of digital technology,artificial intelligence applications,and cross-cultural communication.Despite limitations in the depth and breadth of the case analysis,the present study provides valuable insights into the comprehensive understanding of Multimodal Move Analysis in tourism promotional materials and offers suggestions for future research directions.
