Work resilience is a reflection of student leaders'work capabilities.Based on the perspective of role integration and through interviews with 15 student leaders, the study found that the construction of student leaders'work resilience often involves contradictory tensions among the roles of role model, coordinator, and service provider. The role integration of student leaders shows a non-discrete state from the role separation to the role tangency, and then to the role intersection. The process of role integration helps student leaders adapt to their roles, and the outcome of role integration influences their level of work resilience. In the non-discrete state, student leaders at low, medium, and high levels of work resilience are respectively characterized as exhausted strugglers, natural go-with-the-flowers,and proactive strivers, corresponding to inner states of struggle, acceptance, and self-consistency.To promote role integration and enhance work resilience, university student leaders should strengthen role identity to achieve role intersection;experience role conflicts and practice role transitions;and promote role integration to foster self-growth.
