In response to the call of the Party and the state,general universities have actively implemented labor education in the new era and achieved remarkable results.However,there are also problems such as the implementation content not highlighting the characteristics of the educational stage and the nature of the university,the overall design of the implementation is not enough,the participation of all staff is insufficient,the setting of compulsory courses is not reasonable,the concept of labor is generalized,and the form of labor practice is single.The main reasons for these problems lie in the following aspects:insufficient understanding of the value of labor education,insufficient familiarity with relevant documents on labor education,insufficient theoretical preparation for labor education,and limited resource conditions.The main measures for improvement include:improving the awareness of labor education among all staff,improving the system and mechanism of labor education,reasonably setting up and offering compulsory courses on labor education,making full use of various ways,and effectively carrying out Labor Week or Labor Month.
