Application of two sets of overall Mahalanobis distance method in determining the machining accuracy of lathes
This article focuses on the precision level evaluation of existing idle horizontal lathes for two machining enterprises A and B due to cooperation needs.16 sample data were extracted from the evaluation data and divided into three categories:the first and second categories were used as evaluation criteria, and the third category was used as the sample category to be judged. Two sets of total Mahalanobis distance measurement methods in discriminant analysis were used to calculate the mean vector and covariance matrix of the data and establish a linear discriminant function equation for the data.To ensure accuracy, significant difference tests were conducted on the two types of evaluation criteria data, and the data were substituted into the linear discriminant function equation using the backpropagation method to quantify and classify the three sets of data. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the significance of the two sets of evaluation criteria, with a substitution rate of 100%,which can be used as the evaluation criteria for the pending data. The pending data conform to the actual processing accuracy and is classified reasonably.
