Distribution Characteristics and Influencing Factors of Carbon Storages in Parks of Zhengzhou
In order to provide scientific basis for construction of high carbon sequestration communities in ur-ban greening industry, taking 10 parks with different years of establishment in Zhengzhou as research objects, distribution characteristics of vegetation carbon storages in parks and their influencing factors were investigated by sample plot survey method. Results showed that carbon density of arbor layer ranged from 2.97 to 10.07 kg/m2, carbon density of shrub layer ranged from 0 to 0.35 kg/m2, and total carbon density of vegetation ranged from 3.14 to 10.42 kg/m2 in parks of Zhengzhou. Total carbon density of vegetation in parks differed greatly among different years of completion. There were 58 species of arbors belonging to 24 families and 40 genera, and 50 species of shrubs belonging to 24 families and 36 genera. Community was mainly composed of young and mid-dle-aged forests. Arbor and shrub species formed four communities, which were evergreen and deciduous broad-leaved mixed forest+shrub, coniferous broad-leaved mixed forest+shrub, deciduous broad-leaved forest+shrub and coniferous forest communities. Vegetation carbon density had extremely positive correlations with av-erage DBH of trees and community canopy density. Community factors such as tree species, DBH and canopy density needed to be taken into account in order to establish high carbon sequestration green space communi-ties in parks.
