In order to explore landscape pattern changes in Guangxi Darongshan Natural Reserve and reveal characteristics of changes and distributions of eco-environmental sensitivity, based on Landsat series remote sensing data, landscape pattern changes of natural reserve from 2003 to 2023 were analyzed.Eco-environmen-tal sensitivity evaluation system was constructed by six factors including elevation, slope aspect, slope gradient, land use type, normalized difference vegetation index and water buffer zone.Eco-environmental sensitivity of natural reserve was evaluated. Results showed that from 2003 to 2008,main change of land use type in Darong-shan Natural Reserve was transfer of cultivated land to forest land. From 2008 to 2013,main change was trans-fer of unused land to forest land. From 2013 to 2018,change of land use type was tended to stability,construc-tion land began to be developed, and area of unused land slightly increased. From 2018 to 2023,there were more developments for construction land, and overall landscape pattern remained stable.Comprehensive sensi-tivity of eco-environment in natural reserve did not change significantly.Extreme sensitive areas mainly distrib-uted in northwest of natural reserve.Low sensitive areas distributed in eastern part of natural reserve as strips.Overall distributions of areas with different grades of sensitivities were scattered.
