Soil Quality Evaluation of Youcha(Camellia)Forests Based on Minimum Data Set
In order to provide theoretical support for enhancement and improvement of soil qualities of Youcha(Camellia)forests, soil pH and contents of organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, total potassium,hy-drolyzable nitrogen, available phosphorus, available potassium, substitutional calcium, substitutional magne-sium,available copper, available zinc, available boron, available iron and available manganese were deter-mined.Principal component analysis(PCA)and cluster analysis(CA)were used to establish minimum data sets.Soil quality of Youcha forests was evaluated based on soil quality index(SQI).Results showed that nutri-ents in Youcha forests belonged to medium levels.Soil pH value was 4.77,with obvious acidification.Evalua-tion indexes in minimum data set established by PCA included contents of total nitrogen, available phosphorus, substitutional magnesium, available copper and available manganese.SQI of Youcha forests calculated by mini-mum data set established by PCA ranged from 0.249 to 0.684,with mean of 0.459.Soil quality level mainly dis-tributed fromⅡtoⅤ,without levelⅠ.Minimum data set established by PCA could extract most of data infor-mation compared with CA and could effectively evaluate soil quality of Youcha forests.
